I think that you’re flexus box does a good job to display the insides and what it contains. It combines essentials with an organized structure, allowing easy access and the ability to have a variety of things at any one moment. It seems like more of a “survival kit”, and if I remember correctly thats what I heard professor Ames saying at one point, and that would be great for a time like this.
I really like the glimpse of story from the fluxus box, it’s almost apocalyptic in a sense where it’s a tiny stash of needed supplies. I’d imagine the appendage definitely would help with social distancing!
I like how your box makes me think its for an emergency. It is very well organized. The element that stood out to me was the first aid kit in the back of the box. I think this was a good idea to put in the box.
What do you see inside the fluxus box and what story does it tell you?
I see many essential health tools and first aid equipment. This tells me that this box is for someone (or anyone) that could possibly be in a situation to need this equipment.
Which visual elements standout? Which would benefit from further refinement?
The inside of the box having separators stands out, I like how it is organized. Maybe the box could of been spray painted or something.
What aspects of each project best reflect the maker or best reflect our current situation?
The health supplies very well represent the current situation in quarantine and the virus. You don’t know when you might need some of that stuff.
My first project is the appendage project and is a 6ft arm that can be used in a store or anywhere where you are trying to grab something off a shelf and be 6 ft away from the person and maintain social distancing at the same time. The second project is the fluxus box and contains materials that are related to the current situation that we are in and other essential health tools
