Class 2 – 1/29 – File Management, Hyperlinks, CSS and Images

Class 6 – 2/26 – Domains & hosts: the cost of publishing online

  • Lecture: Domains, hosts and other things to consider when designing for the web
  • In class: Begin Sketches and rough graphics
  • Demo: Fireworks
  • Homework: Begin creating the layout and graphics for your single page site
  • Due: homepage version 3 – which should now have a layout that uses div tags, classes and id’s

Class 7 – 3/15 – Slicing and Optimizing Graphics

  • Demo: Slicing your layout in Fireworks and taking it into Dreamweaver
  • Graphics should be complete, ready to slicing, and coding started

Class 8 – 3/18 –  jQuery Plugin Basics
