Game Review Attentat 1942
This is a game that I actually played in one of my history classes where the game utilizes videos in a cinematic style to live through stories of WW2. It places the player in a nazi occupation where the player has to interact with his/her surroundings. You interact with witnesses and essentially get to live their memories and go through their families stories. I believe companies should continue to work with games like this because it creates a more interactive leaerning experience for the students.
Nintendo Labo review
For starters I think this is a cool thing that Nintendo did because not many other companys create things like this. My brother has this because he has always wanted to be an engineer ever since he was little. I wish there could be a more expensive option though so you can use material other than just cardboard. When we last used it, I believe we made a fishing rod and a piano. I think this is an untouched market for these game companies and I believe ive they should continue to make more things like this.
Game review factorio
I played this a few days ago at my friends apartment and to say the least its an interesting game. The goal of the game is to upgrade your factory to get it to generate material faster but at the cost of damaging the environment around you. It creates this story because for you to get better at the game, it changes and damages the area around you which creates these creatures that tries to damage your factory. Cool concept of the game, just not sure if its a game for me.
Game review- Discovery tour by assassins creed
Played this again recently and its a pretty simple idea but I still think its really cool. Its pretty much a game where you can visit a 3d rendered version of Egypt without having to worry about fighting anyone like the original games. The game includes tour guides made by historians as well which is pretty cool.

Bug Clicker Documentation- Final
So this is going to be my final game I am going to present next week. This is my bug clicker game I have been working on for the past two semester now. The first video is the original game and prototype. Version one was kept very simple and all the player had to do was to clicker and spend the money so your clicks cost more. Version two however is the same concept except I have different menus, buying options, bosses and more. The only big difference is that the bug does not explode anymore. The bug does however move around the screen when you click it. I originally though got the idea I believe in the animation class and worked on the original game in two classes. I thought it was a funny clicker game to make because all i can think of is how people will always kill these bugs on sight around campus. So to go further I thought this would work for this because the lantern fly is an invasive species and needs to be killed to protect our environment around here. The game is simply a way to say we need to kill these guys.
iteration 3 carbon clash notes
- Goal to have the least carbon footprint
- Debate on principle, not number
- Game players came up with a convincing argument
- Have the same card tie in war
- Get rid of 2 out of 3, and instead count to see who has the highest carbon score loses
- Clarify that this is a take on war
- Room for improvement and expansion
Update/Documentation- Silly Goose
To put it simply I don’t think this works for this class. I wanted this game to work with the game for a change style of ideas but anytime I tried to change the rules the game just did not work as well as it did previously. Fun game and I got decent feedback on it but at this point I would want to keep the game the way it is.
The gameplay though is very similar to Card Against Humanity with a few twists. So similar style of best card wins but the winner gets a token or something that holds value similar to that. The group playing decides on a certain number of rounds to play and whoever holds the token the longest and has the most points is the silly goose.

Ripple Effect Documentation
This game is Ripple Effect. Ripple Effect is a game I made using swift again where the players everyday choices could effect anything or anyone around them. You have to make ethical choices for yourself, others, and the environment. To play the game you simply go day to day deciding on what your morales are going to be. Could start off small by saying you are gonna stay for extra hours at work to gain more money, however because of this your health and happiness went down. The inspiration though is pretty much I wanted to try to make a realistic game of life where everything isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Yes I know its not the prettiest looking game right now but I am just trying to work on the basic mechanics and storyline to get the game flowing.

Game review- Carbon Clash
Honestly there was not much to recommend here. I liked the simplicity of the game because it made it easy to play while keeping the game fun and knowledgeable. A fun twist which I would love to see would be to make separate version. Mainly because the game is the PA edition. It would be interesting to see an Ohio or Florida edition or something similar to it. Could be out of the country as well. I also liked how you were able to debate the cards as well. Puts a little twist into the game.
