  1. How well the appendage enhances the wearers experience during our current pandemic?: The appendage appears to provide companionship to an individual with the current social distancing orders. I think it can heavily enhance the wearers experience during the pandemic because of this reason.
What do you see inside the fluxus box and what story does it tell you?: This fluxus box contains all the different things that one might need during a pandemic and works as a time capsule of this once in a lifetime event.
Since we can’t interact with appendages for fluxus boxes, how do you picture them working?: The fluxus box interests me because of the unique design of method of use. The construction with the flaps is very interesting and unlike anything else I’ve seen.

  2. I really appreciated the creativity you implemented into the flexus box part of your project. It wasn’t the default box idea that most people designed, and that allowed for some uniqueness. I liked that your design allowed for an experience of the user. It made it feel like they are playing a game (which I think you were going for if I’m not mistaken) which is fun and brings interest. I think the design does both in terms of representing you and our current situation. It has a lot of the emotions and things within it such as stress, isolation and chaos that a lot of other people around the word can definitely relate to right about now.

  3. I love the idea of your appendage. It shows comfort and how it deals with quarantining. It is very unique. I also love how the directions are for your box. It is very organized and I like how you put little blue tabs on them.

  4. The sort of hug appendage is very cute, I like it! I’d assume it’s like getting a big hug, or at least some physical contact of some sort. The box is also nice and neat, very pleasing to look at.

  5. How well the appendage enhances the wearers experience during our current pandemic?
It allows the user to hug themselves, giving them comfort.
What do you see inside the fluxus box and what story does it tell you?
I like now the fluxus box is organized so carefully into pouches, and all labeled. It makes it easy to use and straight forward.

Since we can’t interact with appendages for fluxus boxes, how do you picture them working?
I picture the appendage being used by one person to comfort themselves, and the same with the fluxus box.

  6. I really like your appendage and how it represents a comforting arm, almost like a shoulder to cry on, if you will. It’s nice that you can use it while it’s attached to you or if it’s just laying there as well. I also really enjoy your box, it expresses what everyone has inevitably felt or gone through needing during this time.

  7. I love your box! The story of the pandemic and our experiences was told in a wonderful way. You figured out how to make the box look very simple, but also added interesting and welcoming interactive pieces into it. I wish we weren’t in quarantine so I could get a closer look at the different elements of the box. I also appreciate that you took the time to write out a small explanation as to how the box works. Your appendage looks well crafted and very interesting. At first, I was confused as to how you can use this during the pandemic, but after looking at it again, it clicked that it was meant for napping on the go. This would be a perfect thing for the doctors and nurses who are constantly being called into work.

  8. I like how deep the first project and that I can say that represents the pandemic where we are.

  9. My Appendage Project “The Quarantine Companion”:
This was aimed at those in quarantine who are suffering due to lack of physical connection and affection. It is supposed to be like having a friend there with you with their arm around you.
    My Fluxus Box Game:
My box was designed to read as a game for people during quarantine. To keep them occupied for a while, but to also provide hope for the future.
