This sounds like a really cool game. I love the mechanics!
Thank you, I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays!
I love this game’s aesthetic and really think you two pushed the limits of what’s considered a prototype. I honestly think you could keep it how it is or add a whole bunch more and either way it would be a perfect end product. Maybe if you switched up the order in which the spin, roll, and draw happens, or figure out a way to make it more random could improve the pace.
Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate it! I think we will consider adding a few mechanics, particularly with the investigations. I’m really glad you liked it!
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed the game. I hope you play the next version!!
I think the mechanics of this worked out very well. Perfect gameplay length. My only feedback was the retro font and cutesy art didn’t seem to match but I understand the thought process of not wanting it to be excessively creepy. I respect that. Other than that, maybe the flip book could be smaller? Maybe it could serve more of a purpose in game?
Oh, so that’s how the decomposition booklets work…I think that’s a cool factor of your game, having players flip through illustrations to keep track of game progress.
