{"id":6256,"date":"2022-10-04T09:49:22","date_gmt":"2022-10-04T13:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rmu.andrewyames.com\/?p=6256"},"modified":"2022-10-04T14:30:32","modified_gmt":"2022-10-04T18:30:32","slug":"game-1-rules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rmu.andrewyames.com\/?p=6256","title":{"rendered":"Game 1 Rules"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Countermand<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>noun <\/em>&#8211; an order revoking a previous one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> flip all of the cards on the table to show your side facing up<\/li><li><strong>Required materials:<\/strong> a standard deck of playing cards and a coin\/poker chip\/etc<\/li><li><strong>Setup:<\/strong><ul><li>Half of the cards (26 for a full deck) are placed face down on the table, the other half are placed face up<ul><li>None of the cards should be touching each other<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The shortest player will go first<\/li><li>The other player may select which orientation they wish to work towards<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>On a player\u2019s turn:<\/strong><ul><li>Spin the coin<ul><li>As long as the coin remains spinning, the player may pick up and flip cards.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Only one card may be flipped with each hand at any time.<\/li><li>The coin is deemed to have stopped moving when it is completely still and making no noise.<\/li><li>If a player is in the act of changing the state of a card when the coin finishes moving, they are penalized by flipping 2 of their cards to their opponents orientation<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Winning:<\/strong><ul><li>A player wins when all of the cards on the table are facing in the orientation that they were working towards<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Countermand noun &#8211; an order revoking a previous one.
