How it uses Krug\u2019s five important \u201cthings\u201d to make sure users see and understand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It creates a clear visual hierarchy, the first thing you see when you look at the site is a photo of the restaurant, which changes to another photo saying its \u201ctraditional family recipes\u201d then another \u201cfresh ingredients for an authentic flavor\u201d. Obviously, traditional recipes and authentic tastes are important so they\u2019re putting them first.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>2. The conventions of the we page are clear and easy to see\/use. The logo is in the top left and the navigation bar is at the top with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. The site has clearly defined areas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. It also makes it obvious whats clickable (navigation bar, and \u201cour sauce\u201d and \u201ccareers\u201d at the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. There isn\u2019t much noise, I feel like its easy to navigate through and doesn\u2019t have any distractions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. DiAnoia\u2019s Eatery<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-dianoiaseatery.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Balance- I think the first page is balanced well <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Unity- the colors of white and blue make it feel unified<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Emphasis- I think there\u2019s a lot of emphasis on looking at the menu<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Layout- the layout is white space on the left and a picture. Then if you click on the 3 horizontal lines to the right, the white space goes away making the page an entire picture with a floating navigation bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. How it uses Krug\u2019s five important \u201cthings\u201d to make sure users see and understand<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The first thing I noticed when I looked at the page was \u201cCIAO!\u201d, a picture of meatballs and then an option to view their menu. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>2. The conventions of this page weren\u2019t as clear to me as Pasta Too\u2019s site Although the logo stuck out on the left side, the navigation bar was hard to find since you had to click on the 3 horizontal lines next to \u201ccheck out our menu\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. This site does not have clearly defined areas until you click on the navigation bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. There isn\u2019t much to click so it does make it obvious on what\u2019s clickable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.
