{"id":2941,"date":"2018-02-14T09:43:46","date_gmt":"2018-02-14T13:43:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rmu.andrewyames.com\/?p=2941"},"modified":"2018-02-14T09:43:46","modified_gmt":"2018-02-14T13:43:46","slug":"2-rule-sets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rmu.andrewyames.com\/?p=2941","title":{"rendered":"2 Rule sets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Private College Card Game<\/p>\n<p>-rich kids (nice car, no job)<\/p>\n<p>-time<\/p>\n<p>-time is spent between homework,working,social<\/p>\n<p>-character cards have\/requore so much<\/p>\n<p>-major, lifestyle, organizations<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cards: character cards, action cards (clubs to join, social events, homework amounts, work, financial aid), extra additives (change of major, gets in relationship=more time), resource cards=(time cards, social cards)<\/p>\n<p>Each resource card counts as 1 point, you collect these cards in order to spend them on something your character needs\/needs to do<\/p>\n<p>Characters each have distinguishable needs and abilities:<\/p>\n<p>-needs: certain social points, money, homework<\/p>\n<p>Set up: Separate character cards, action cards, and resource cards<\/p>\n<p>-Each player selects one character card at random<\/p>\n<p>-Shuffle resource cards into action cards<\/p>\n<p>-Each player draws 5 cards from this deck and may look at them<\/p>\n<p>-Lay character card face down\u2014you will build up their components<\/p>\n<p>-Start off by building a back story for each character so everyone knows their classmates<\/p>\n<p>Turns: -Each player takes their turn<\/p>\n<p>-You may only lay down objective cards which fulfill your character if you have the resource<\/p>\n<p>cards to support them<\/p>\n<p>-You can only have 7 cards in your hand at a time<\/p>\n<p>-During your turn you may either play, discard, or draw<\/p>\n<p>-Some action cards can be played on other players<\/p>\n<p>Win: When your character card has fulfilled all of its needs<\/p>\n<p>Checkerboard idea:<\/p>\n<p>1.Floor is lava concept\u2014can\u2019t step on one of the certain blocks but have to \u201crescue\u201d one of your team members on the other side<\/p>\n<p>1.-have add ons after so many rounds to limit board use (i.e. trees, overspill of lava, tunnels)<\/p>\n<p>Pieces: board tiles that have reversible sides (normal chess board sides and then lava sides), 2 pawns\/nights\/whatever you want to call them<\/p>\n<p>Set up: Put together the board black\/white side up in a normal checkered pattern. Must be at least 5 pieces length and width wise.
