You may:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Create an original story<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Modernize an existing short story<\/strong> (e.g., from Project Gutenberg).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your goal is to create an engaging interactive experience that demonstrates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Effective use of <strong>design and animation principles<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation of <strong>original graphics<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Well considered sse of<strong> perspectives<\/strong> (first, second, and\/or third person), and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear application of <strong>interactivity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project may <strong>expand from your looping narrative<\/strong> assignment or <strong>diverge into a new idea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Process\/Benchmarks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Brainstorm<\/strong> narrative ideas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Outline<\/strong> your story using one of three interactive plot structures:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nodal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modulated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Storyboard &amp; Use-Case Scenario<\/strong>: Create storyboards and document a use-case scenario based on your chosen structure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create Assets<\/strong>: Produce visual assets (Illustrator, Photoshop, or other software).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Animate Scenes<\/strong>: Build animated scenes based on your storyboards and outline (tools may include Dreamweaver, Scratch, Keynote, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add Interactivity<\/strong>: Link scenes using tools of your choice (e.g., HTML, Python, Unity, Scratch, Keynote).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Test, Troubleshoot, Refine<\/strong> your project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Documentation<\/strong>: Use-case scenario, storyboards, and sketches submitted as a single PDF.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Weekly Progress Reports<\/strong> (emailed or posted to the class blog before class): Must include\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Time tracking,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notes on achievements (e.g., finished sketching, created x, y, z assets, animated scenes 1\u20133),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Issues needing feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Final Interactive Project<\/strong> presented during critique.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose a plot structure (nodal, modulated, open) that best supports your narrative goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use interactivity purposefully: each choice, click, or transition should serve the story.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build <strong>consistent assets<\/strong> that unify your project visually.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Test thoroughly \u2014 both for <strong>technical functionality<\/strong> and <strong>narrative clarity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep documentation polished;
