  1. I really like the sculpted hand. I can tell it took a lot of time and hard work to create it. I like your idea of the box and the things that stands out to me is the cast on the arm and the purple ribbon that goes through the box.

  2. The hand almost looks like it’s reaching out for some sort of connection, it’s very nice. The visual elements that stand out the most in the box overall are color, drawing the eye right in.

  3. I like the molded hand and has a spooky kind of view going on and I like the material that’s inside the fluxus box has that spooky / mystery element to the project

  4. I really like the hand. The way it’s reaching out for something really makes the audience think about what it could be reaching out for. I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into making both your hand and your box.

  5. What do you see inside the fluxus box and what story does it tell you?
It has many items that would allow the user to be creative, for instance the notebook and pencils. Also the books to increase their knowledge and occupy spare time.
How does the carved project communicate the concept of connection?
The hand shows that we all want to reach out for human contact, which is hard in quarantine. It is something we all have in common, which connects us.
Which visual elements standout? Which would benefit from further refinement?
I like how the hand isn’t completely smooth, showing how weathered it is. This can represent the hardships of quarantine and finding connection in this time.

  6. Your fluxus box is very successful and I can understand the story immediately because of the items showcased. I think that your hand carving is super intricate and detailed and incredibly well done!

Your hand project really stands out to me and is done incredibly well.

  7. Your sculpted hand is very nice, the way that it is reaching out is a nice touch. I think it’s very aestheticly pleasing and looks to be the correct proportions. Your box seems to have items to occupy time which people now have a lot of. Very nice
