  1. A second hand would be extremely useful, especially one that you use instead to keep your hands clean. It’s a little hard to see into the box with the stripes, but I really enjoy the visual it’s giving off. The colors inside are very nice.

  2. I love the design on the side of the box and how you can see through it. The hand looks well structured. I love how it is able to hold the cup. The visual aspect I like is the design on the side of the box.

  3. I like how the hand is able to hold a cup pretty well and it seems the fingers are able to move to

  4. Visual pieces that stand out are the Nike pieces and wire that are holding different pieces together to from the hand

  5. I like the tiger stripes on the box a lot. They make the box stand out from others and make it look unique to you as a person.
The hand that can hold things is a great idea, especially now when everyone is nervous to touch anything. I also like that you used the orange Nike box as the hand because that also compliments you as a person.
I just wish the stripes showed more of the box behind it. It’s kind of hard to see what’s behind them at first glance. But on the other hand, I kind of like how you have to get closer and really examine what’s in the box.

  6. You’re appendage is super interesting and the construction is really good. I like the concept as well. Your fluxus box has a really cool exterior design with the tiger stripes, however, it is a little difficult to see what’s inside of the box.

I think the tiger stripes really stand out and make this project interesting to look out.

  7. How well the appendage enhances the wearers experience during our current pandemic?

What do you see inside the fluxus box and what story does it tell you?

Which visual elements standout? Which would benefit from further refinement?
I like how the hand is obviously made of repurposed materials, so it is good for the enviorment.
What aspects of each project best reflect the maker or best reflect our current situation?
The hand could be used to limit human contact with items that could possibly be dirty.
Since we can’t interact with appendages for fluxus boxes, how do you picture them working?
I like how the fluxus box has a window so the user can look inside and see the objects it contains. The design is also very appealing

  8. Your tiger stripes are very pleasing to the eye and the color inside of the box really makes the white shoe pop nicely. I like your choice of placement with the Nike symbol on your hand, it’s pleasing for some reason. Was that intentional? I also like that you show us that you can hold things with it as well as grip.

  9. I really like the idea of the box. and I can see how it is something struggling with its situation.

  10. So to wrap up my final project, I like how it turned out. My concept with my tiger stripes for my flexus box was very tedious and turned out better than I expected. I liked the items I included as well, but I wish that I would’ve used some things less prevalent to much daily life so I didn’t have to take apart the things I need throughout the day from the box. As for my bionic hand piece, I decided to include my soccer life and have the ‘hand’ designed as a goalie glove with tape around the fingers to replicate taped fingers that goalies actually do. I wished I had more materials to fully complete the exact design I had hoped for, but I think conceptually it still worked as I’d hoped. Instead of straws, since I did not have any in the house, I used pencil grips to thread string through and attach to the fingers. This wasn’t the most efficient way of attaching the string, but it still worked which I was happy about.
If I were to continue to refine them, I would probably replace my physical objects with cardboard replicas and with my bionic hand, grab an actual futsal ball which would show off the idea behind the design of the hand.
